On 10 November 2025, at the European Studies Conference 2025, SHINE 2Europe, presented the Memorable project, as part of Erasmus+ projects connecting art, culture, and dementia care to promote inclusion and quality of life.
Natália Machado and Juliana Louceiro presented SHINE’s efforts to make cultural participation more accessible for people living with dementia.
The project provides training materials, e-learning tools, and policy recommendations for professionals and organisations wishing to integrate art and culture into dementia-friendly environments.
